Community in Hillsboro

We would like to warmly invite you to visit us at the Stoneybrook Farm in Hillsboro, VA (near Washington, DC). We are a group of people that live together, share all things in common, and try to live as closely as possible to the way human beings were meant to live. We cultivate our land organically, run our equipment with biofuels and raise goats and cows, chickens and bees. We believe that the One who created us wanted us to live in harmony, loving one another and caring for His creation. There is a greater purpose for our lives on earth than only making a living. We hope that one day all of mankind can return to living in harmony with each other, with their Creator, and with the land. The only way this can happen is if we all dedicate everything we have for the purpose of loving one another. That is why we took that step and left everything for a life of love, a life of serving each other and seeking out others who wish to do the same. We have given our lives to see this life of love that we live spread and fill the earth. We hate war, injustice and everything that is destroying people's lives and our Creator's beautiful creation. We are the beginning of a new revolution. We want you to come see what we have accomplished already, and we would love to share with you the vision we have for the future. Please come visit us on Friday evening when we welcome the weekly Sabbath with songs, Israeli Folk Dance and a free meal served with a smile to all of our friends. Or stop by our Farm Market on the corner of Route 9 and Hillsboro Road to see and taste the fruit of our labors in the field. We would love to get to know you, ~All your friends at the Stoneybrook Farm Our Farm is registered with WWOOF (willing workers on organic farms) and we would love to have you stay with us for a few days or a season if you are interested in Organic Farming.
