“Where can the light of love be found—willingness to give all?” the Pilgrims asked. As they clung to each other in their great suffering, they began to experience the answer...their lives giving forth a sweet aroma that lingers to this day. Sadly this willingness to give all did not endure and William Bradford’s sorrow at its passing no honest reader can overlook. Yet they were Stepping Stones! They were a light at the dawning of America, helping establish a place where men could grope for God, if perhaps they could find him.
